Lwandle Malumbete recently joined ECIAfrica as a Senior Specialist in Public Finance Management, bringing over ten years of finance experience in both the public and private sector. Most recently he was heading up the HOD Support Services Directorate for the Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism. Prior to that Lwandle led the Capital Projects Appraisal Directorate for the Limpopo Department of Finance (Provincial Treasury), he also held financial roles in an economic research institute and at a multinational consumer goods company. Some of his previous responsibilities included budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, market and profitability analysis, infrastructure budgeting and planning, monitoring of expenditure on infrastructure budgets, as well as investment appraisal.

Lwandle holds a BCom in Economics from the University of Cape Town (UCT) and he is completing an MSc in Development Finance from the University of London, UK.
